Sports Hub

 

Let Me Play are proud to announce a limited number of brand new Sports Hub’s to run across the Hammersmith borough during Summer 2010.

 

Aimed at young people aged 11 to 19, the Sports Hub’s are designed to provide participants with an insight into a variety of sports, games and activities including: Street Dance, Dodgeball, Cricket, Basketball, Football, Olympic Games and much more.

 

The five day hub is free to attend but there are only 50 places available each week and participants must pre register by completing an application form and submitting this.

 

There are a total of four Sports Hub’s running based across three locations, as seen below:

 

Venue 1:  Hurlingham & Chelsea School, Peterborough Road, London SW6 3ED

Dates:  26 – 30 July and 2 – 8 August

Time:  10 – 3 PM

Ages: 11 - 16

 

Venue 2:  Ravenscourt Park, off Ravenscourt Road, London W6 0UG

Dates:  9 – 13 August

Time:  12 – 4 PM

Ages: 11 - 19

Note: This hub will have a strong focus on Basketball

 

Venue 3:  Linford Christie Stadium, Artillery Way, Wormwood Scrubs, London W12 0AE

Dates:  16 – 20 August

Time: 12 – 4 PM

Ages: 11 - 19

Note:  Strong focus on football, athletics and basketball with current GB athletes coaching
